The Problem

In Sohbatpur, Balochistan, access to clean and safe drinking water remains a serious challenge. Many families rely on unsafe water sources, and children often spend hours each day fetching water instead of attending school. This ongoing water scarcity affects health, education, and overall quality of life in these underserved communities.

What We’ve Achieved — and What’s Still Needed

Our initiative to address this issue has already installed 31 hand water pumps, providing reliable access to clean water for entire villages. Each pump costs £150 and serves communities for many years. Despite this progress, the need remains immense—hundreds more hand water pumps are still required to meet the basic water needs of surrounding villages in Sohbatpur.
